As someone who has t...I really liked this article. As someone who has taken on the role of being a step-parent, without children of my own, and the lovely bonus package that comes with it of one very adversarial and judgment custodial parent, it can certainly be trying at times. It was a nice reminder at the end to always keep in mind that it is not the custodial parent's opinion of me or my loved one that matters in our life. What matters is that we hold up our end of the bargain by providing the most stable and functional home life possible when the kids are with us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
